Khai Tom was born with Cerebellar Hypoplasia, a neurological condition where the cerebellum, the part of the brain responsible for balance and coordination, doesn’t fully develop. Because of this, Khai Tom can’t walk, sit, or even eat on his own. Every little action, eating, drinking, using the toilet requires gentle support.
He was found helpless, lying under a condominium, unable to move until a kind-hearted person reached out to Paws for help. That was the beginning of Khai Tom’s new chapter, one filled with love, safety, and care.
Despite his challenges, Khai Tom never gives up. Even when his head tilts and his body follows in unpredictable directions, he tries. His little legs may wobble, but his spirit stands tall. He doesn’t cry. He doesn’t complain. Instead, he offers the world nothing but his gentle, trusting eyes and a soft, grateful sound whenever someone pets him or speaks kindly.
Khai Tom is more than a special-needs cat. He’s our cutie boy, our little warrior, and a symbol of quiet strength. His life may look different, but it’s filled with love, determination, and moments of pure joy, a reminder that happiness doesn’t always come in perfect form, but in wobbly, beautiful resilience.
