Meet Eclipse, a little cat with a huge heart and an even bigger spirit.

Born with a rare condition called eyelid agenesis, Eclipse entered the world without properly formed eyelids, leaving his eyes exposed and vulnerable. As a tiny kitten found at a temple, his future was uncertain but fate had brighter plans.

Thanks to a compassionate rescuer and the incredible team at Paws Bangkok, Eclipse received the urgent care he needed. To protect him from ongoing pain and risk of infection, both of his eyes were surgically closed, a life-saving procedure that gave him comfort and a fresh start. Though he has been blind since birth, Eclipse never let that define him.

He arrived at Asok Pethouse in December 2024 and quickly stole every heart in the room. Playful, curious, and endlessly charming, Eclipse lived life boldly, chasing sounds, making new friends, and proving daily that blindness is no barrier to joy.

His journey wasn’t easy, but through every twist and turn, he remained loving, resilient, and full of purrs. His new family understands his needs and loves him exactly as he is, and he’s already bringing his signature spark to their lives.
